Chuck Wendig: How To Be A Professional Author & Not Die Starving & Screaming In A Lightless Abyss

Chuck Wendig indirectly led to my wanting to move from a career in journalism to one in fiction writing, thanks to StumbleUpon & a little piece of weird on his website. Earlier this morning, I read an article on Medium from Heather Demetrios which should be mandatory reading for any & all writers wanting to hit the big time & the potential financial pitfalls. Chuck is one of those people I call a steward, because he’s determined to leave the craft better than he found it. He responded to Ms. Demetrios’ cautionary tale with some of his own experiences & advice. I will never not promote Wendig & his TerribleMinds site, but this piece especially resonates. Enjoy.
