If you spend any time here on my blog at all, you’ll see Chuck Wendig’s influence. Whether it’s reviewing one of his books, writing flash fiction based off his challenges at Terrible Minds, or whether it’s passing along his knowledge & tips on literary stewardship, Wendig is up there with Stephen King & Neil Gaiman as one of my all-time favorite writers. And it’s not just their writing. All three men vehemently fight for what’s right in our world & voice their opinions, speaking truth to power despite that not being a popular activity to some of their fans. But fuck ’em. Sometime truths are uncomfortable & Wendig used this blog post to not only drop some writing knowledge, but to also bring forward one of those uncomfortable truths.
